On the morning of September 29, Hubei’s Seminar in Celebration of the 19th CPC National Congress for Fulfillment the Chinese Dream was held in Wuhan. The Seminar was jointly organized by the Publicity Department of CPC Hubei Provincial Committee, Hubei Federation of Trade Unions, Hubei Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, and Hubei Women’s Federation.
The Seminar is an important part of the “Five Years of Advancing” mass-based theme publicity and education campaign. It is aimed at implementing the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s series of important speeches and new concepts, new thoughts and new strategies concerning state governance and regime management, and increasing efforts in publicity and education of the socialism with Chinese characteristics and Chinese dream. The campaign is expected to spread a positive mentality, tell stories about how Hubei people integrate their individual dreams into the Chinese nation’s great dream and fulfill their dreams. Role models will be established to encourage and inspire people to fortify their ideals and faiths and practice socialist core values, so that all people could celebrate the successful holding of the 19th CPC National Congress with a good spiritual outlook.
Since the 18th CPC National Congress, scientific and technological innovation has been prioritized in the overall national development in the process of realizing the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. In July 2013, President Xi Jinpin visited Wuhan Optics Valley. He pointed out the significance of scientific and technological innovation, and stressed that “science and technology is the foundation of the country’s prosperity”. Five months later, Hubei Provincial People’s Government issued the Plan for the Development of BDS Satellite Navigation Application Industry. In March 2014, Wuhan Mengxin Technology was established in Wuhan Optics Valley. For this, Wang Qinghai, General Manager of Mengxin Technology, was invited as the only representative of scientific and technological innovation enterprises to make a speech at the Seminar. He elaborated the stories about Mengxin Technology’s innovation and entrepreneurship.
At the Seminar, General Manager Wang Qinghai introduced Mengxin Technology’s industrial background, mission, vision and teams, and shared inspirational stories about Mengxin Technology’s progress on the path of BDS chip R&D. “November 11, 2015 was an exciting day for all Chinese people, as TYLOO chip developed by Mengxin Technology was officially released in Wuhan. It is China’s first independently developed and massively produced 40-nm high-precision consumer BDS navigation and positioning chip. It is a domestically leading and internationally advanced product in terms of performance, power dissipation, integration level and cost! Its birth symbolizes that China has made another innovative breakthrough in the R&D of BDS chips, opening up a new chapter of China’s BDS replacing the U.S. GPS as a household product,” General Manager Wang Qinghai said.
