November 1, 2017 witnessed the grand opening of the 14th Optics Valley of China International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum (“OVC Expo”) in China Optics Valley Convention & Exhibition Center. On the opening day, 12,000 visitors experienced the optoelectronic feast, and 12 projects with a total investment amount of RMB 20.085 billion were signed.Themed with “light links world, wisdom leads future” , the OVC Expo featured an exhibition area of 20,000m2. There were a total of three exhibition halls—Photic Intelligent Manufacturing, Photic Intelligent Connection”?, and Photic Intelligence. Nearly 500 enterprises from 15 countries and regions, including the U.S., the UK, Germany and Russia, joined the OVC Expo with their latest products and technologies. The expo presented such high-tech achievements as laser technology, artificial intelligence, BDS navigation, big data, cloud platform and intelligent hardware. New technologies and new products characteristic of information-based and intelligentized integrated development of the global photoelectric technology industry as well as the new achievements and new thoughts in innovative development of the Optics Valley of China and the opto-electronics industry in line with the world trends were exhibited. The three-day expo was jointly organized by five national ministries and commissions—the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), China Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) as well as Hubei Provincial People’s Government. It was undertaken by such units as Wuhan Municipal People’s Government and Wuhan East Lake High-Tech Development Zone.

At the expo, Mengxin Technology’s technicians mainly introduced the broadband RF-based system-wide low-power SoC chip—TYLOO MXT2708A, BDS high-precision RTK algorithm-based centimeter-level positioning module, vehicle-mounted GNSS+INS integrated navigation model and various system terminal products to the guests. These products received high praise from the guests.
Designed and developed based on 40-nm technology, Mengxin Technology’s TYLOO MXT2708A chip is not only compatible with all types of global navigation satellite systems, but also the first to realize that one chip simultaneously receives and processes three kinds of signals—BDS, GPS and GLONASS. Such a chip can be widely applied to automobile, industry, consumer electronics fields. Its high level of integration and multifunction can reduce the size of PCB boards and periphery components to the greatest extent and meet the needs for high-precision consumer navigation and positioning products. Additionally, it is applicable to wearable devices and intelligent IOT terminals.

With built-in RTK algorithm, the module supports BDS B1 and GPS L1, with packages compatible with international mainstream navigation and positioning modules on the market. Featuring high sensitivity, interference resistance and high performance, the module can be applied to high-precision location information services, especially fields with high requirements on precision, such as shared bike parking management, unmanned driving, UAV, robot positioning, surveying, mapping and geoinformation, safety engineering, precision agriculture, and mechanical control.

The ability to serve internationalized Wuhan has been greatly improved, which is of great significance to advancing the strategy of building Hubei into a powerful industrial province and accelerating the development of the Optics Valley’s intelligent manufacturing industry.
